The best one they never picked was Ken Campbell, they chose that useless Sylvester McCoy instead.
Of the rest Patrick Troughton by a mile John Pertwee was good but trying to be too much like James Bond for me.

Got to be John Pertwee - all crushed velvet and ruffled shirts - the psychedelic Doctor!
The bloke who played The Master at this time scared the fuck out of me...

Tom Baker.
Don't really like the new ones but Coleman is easy on the eye.
I once saw Sylvester McCoy in a nightclub in hastings.

Peter Capaldi. And Jenna Coleman is brillant as the compabion. I have really enjoyed the last aeries. Much better than it has been for quite a while.

Tom Baker was always my favourite, very closly followed by David Tennant but Peter Capaldi's Doctor is outstanding and is now in the lead. I love his high functioning Asperger personality and acid wit. Jenna Coleman also makes the programme highly watchable.

I don't remember the first but the second had a real expressive wrinkled face. The stories seemed better more surreal, as well so chalk up another for Patrick Troughton

Jon Pertwee was the Doc when I was growing up so he is my choice. Played it mostly straight, not too wacky, but with just the odd moment of insanity.
Jenna Coleman is the assistant ever IMHO too.

I like Capaldi, but BY GOD they've given him a massive backseat to the fucking teacher and the soldier in the latest series. Way too much time devoted to her and to them.
The finale ep was just utterly cringeworthy as well.

Troughton for the childhood remembrances, Smith of the current crop, but Capaldi is well on his way to usurping.
Also, Jenna Coleman: would.

Tennant.
Didn't think I'd like him when he started, but he was brilliant.
Matt Smith is my least favourite. HATED him.

Probably only really watched the later WHO's and thought the last bloke was pretty good.
Was massively helped by the fact I found Amy Pond bloody gorgeous.

Tom Baker, by far. Because of him, one birthday, all I wanted was a yoyo. Wasn't interested in anything else. My mum must have thought "Touch!"
I got it, and was so proud telling my teacher at infants school that I got a yoyo for my birthday, but she felt sorry for me, thinking I was negelected, so she bought me a Tufty book. It wa shit. The yoyo rocked, and I WAS the DOCtor.
